---------WE DID IT!!!!!!!
Good Friends working right along side of us
Look at those adorable boys!

"Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It is difficult to find words adequate in expressing my gratitude to the many people in our stake who have risen to the call of prophets and apostles and local leaders. I have personally witnessed many acts of sacrifice, consecration and dedication over the past few weeks. I know that there were countless additional similar acts that were done unnoticed or without fanfare. I truly marvel at the many ways in which people used their various talents and abilities to assist in this cause. I express my deepest and heartfelt appreciation to all who helped in any way.
I am humbled to report that the same spirit that impelled the people to respond to the Title of Liberty in the Book of Mormon, is alive and well in the Camarillo stake. There is nothing like a righteous cause to portray the depth and breadth of our determination and commitment. This has been a test of our faith and we have been equal to the task.
Let us not be like nine of the lepers healed by the Savior. We must be grateful to the Lord. We must be humble and gracious in the blessings which He has poured out upon us. We must be compassionate and understanding towards those whose circumstances led them to disagree with us - especially if they are members of the Church. In short, we must be filled with the gift of charity.
Lastly, we must continue to remember the purpose for the restoration of the gospel in these latter days. As great and important and consuming as our task has been over the last few weeks, we must now return with equal zeal to the great work of fulfilling our part of the Abrahamic Covenant: to bless the individuals and families of the earth with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I express, once again, my thanks and appreciation to all. I close with the scripture that was running through my mind all day yesterday, " Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed. " (D&C 123:17)
With Love and Gratitude,
President Blickenstaff "

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BOO!!!~~~
she frightened them with her amazing feat of body splitting! The wicked 4 ran away in fear!
In an instant the midget Pirate escaped from the Banishing Spell and took Bell captive. She tried to woo him with her poise and beauty. Just as he was weakening from her spell...
A TEENAGER appeared from no where! Armed with "BAD ATTITUDE" Bell's charms were useless.
Things only went from bad to worse as the Candy Monster descended upon us all. She coyly entices little ones with promises of candy and then she captures them when they least expect it.
Then, from out of the sky, came BUZZ LIGHT YEAR, WOODY, JESSIE AND EMPEROR ZURG!
Jessie cookin up the weiners!!!
Kristy, Gina Martin and Faith
The evening ended well, everyone safe and best of all-well fed with LOTS AND LOTS OF CANDY!
Another great Halloween!
--------Testimonies of Proposition 8----------
We have a great family in our Camarillo Second Ward; Jonathan & Kirsten Kent.
Jonathan sent me an email with this Captian Moroni picture and his testimony reagarding the importance of Prop 8. Jonathan is a GREAT graphic artist-as you can clearly see!
I couldn't say it better myself! Thank you Jonathan!
"Ever since we started knocking on doors, the story of Captain Moroni has been on my mind. He made himself a banner that read, 'In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children.'
He then said, 'Behold, whosoever will maintain this title upon the land, let them come forth in the strength of the Lord, and enter into a covenant that they will maintain their rights, and their religion, that the Lord God may bless them.' The people then 'came running together with their armor girded about their loins'.
This year's election is next Tuesday, and we have been asked to uphold the same rights Moroni fought to keep for his people. Please make sure you are one of those who comes 'running' this Saturday through Tuesday to support the cause of freedom! "
The Truth is Always More Interesting Than Fiction
Well, as you can see, the Morris Family supports Prop 8. We were excited to attend the Prop 8 Bus Rally held in Camarillo last Sunday. It started 1 hour before our Sunday church meeting began so we dressed for church and left for the Rally. Brie, Josh & Zach were all excited to go. They really got into the spirit and waved posters and shouted "Yes on 8" to drivers on the street. I was proud of them as they signed the poster indicating their support for Prop 8.
All seemed to be going fairly well. As we listened to the different pastors and Rally speakers Jade & I asked each other, "Where is Zachary?" Because of the size of the crowd we couldn't see him, but figured he wasn't too far away and most likely with friends. When the Rally was over, we all gathered and got into the car to leave for church. When Zachary got into the car we noticed that he had a baseball. He said that he found it and asked everyone he could if it belonged to them. As there were no takers he thought he would take care of it.
Well, I thought no more of it until today when a friend of mine called. She was online looking for news coverage of the Rally. She thought she found a photo of the Rally but couldn't recognize a photo of the child throwing the baseball. Yes-you guessed it-it was Zachary.
Now the FUNNY part of this whole story is that the coverage my friend came across online and where she found the picture of our cute Zachary was on an ANTI-PROP 8 website!!!
I'm not sure the Morris family should go to anymore Rally's-we might be doing more harm than good.
