Marriage, a Divine Institution

I support Traditional Marriage-Marriage between a man and a woman.

I support Proposition 8.

Why do I support Traditional Marriage?

I believe that Marriage is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children. Children have the right to be raised in a loving family consisting of a mother and a father.

Am I a bigot or intolerant because I believe as I do? I am not a bigot and I am tolerant. But I cannot stand back and say nothing when something as important as Traditional Marriage is in question.

I am angry that 4 California judges took it upon themselves to override the vote of the California Citizens regarding Proposition 22. I am an American Citizen and my vote counts.

NO JUDGE CAN OVERTURN THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

I believe that Proposition 8 DOES NOT take away ANY rights OR benefits that same-sex couples now have.

I DO NOT believe that same-sex marriage should be taught in our public schools as the same as traditional marriage. If Proposition 8 fails, this will be the case.

I believe I HAVE the RIGHT to teach MY children about same-sex unions-

NOT THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM.

As stated in "The Family, A Proclamation To The World"

"We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society."
